PlayStation Store Desciption - As you might expect with a name like that, James Pond is a true gaming legend but for his greatest adventure yet he's been given a modern twist! You'll be treated to 100 action-packed levels in which the aquatic super-hero jumps, climbs, squishes, squashes and stretches his way through level after level of some of the best cartoon-style visuals ever seen! With more puzzles, improved graphics and an enticing gameplay style, James Pond Codename: Robocod is without doubt the most playable scrolling platform game you will ever play.

Gameplay - You will start outside Santa's Toy Factory which is the level hub (there's about 100 levels altogether) and if you've just started the game you will walk past the first door and of course enter the first level. Now there's a variety of power ups including an umbrella and wings! Each stage is based on a particular theme (e.g. teddy bears) and has about 4 levels on each stage and on one of those 4 levels your will take control of a vehicle (e.g. car, flying bathtub) and use that to complete the level instead. After about 2 or 3 stages the next door you enter will be a boss, although most of the bosses you can easily beat after afew tries.

Graphics - The opening cutscene looks absolutely great! I think there's been a slight enhancement over the graphics but they looked great anyway. This game supports fullscreen on the PSP (and it looks superb on fullscreen too), also the backgrounds are very colourful (heck you can be distracted by it sometimes). So graphics wise no problem here..

Sound - Most levels have a different song (including the level hub) but at times does feel repetitive, but some are quite catchy and you could hum them all day! There's no actual voice-acting in this game so don't expect any actual speech sentences.

Replayability - Now this is one heck of a problem because once you complete a stage you can't play it again unless you don't save it or start an entire new game! Same goes once you complete the game you can only fight the last boss again, so that's quite a letdown.

Overall - This is worth a purchase, with the great graphics and the catchy songs but for a person who likes repeating their levels again they'll need to think about it...
